Gifts That Grow

Our fourth sweet babe was born into a home already bustling with activity, where quiet is rarely guaranteed, new faces come and go, and more days than not are filled with movement.

Even the “laid back” days we have are hardly what one would call calm. πŸ˜‰ Yet Cassandra blended in seamlessly to our family – a piece of our hearts’ puzzle we didn’t know was missing till she arrived.

In 7 years of motherhood, there have been many changes in our home, our schedules, our routines. One thing that hasn’t changed – our desire for less. Our wish remains to make intentional choices for our family, from basic things like what we buy, eat and wear, to more important things like what people we surround ourselves with, and how we shape the hearts of our children.

Giving thoughtfully with Incredibundles.com:

IncrediBundles.com is an excellent example of how to create a thoughtful gift (whether for your own child or someone else), a gift that can be both useful and beautiful, bring joy and relieve some of that parenting stress.

I found a wonderful assortment of items, and chose a few that fit the season we’re in right now. (In case you were wondering – the season is one where they all play together and more or less use each other as props for their games!)

You guys, I was so excited to see “Caps For Sale” on there.

Did anyone else have this at home as a kid? We had a copy that started out as my older sister’s (I think?) and was still around when I got married 20-something years later. A little worse for wear πŸ˜‰ but still readable. This one is fun to read as an adult or a kid, which always a plus. There were several other classics that caught my eye, including an Eric Carle bundle! Love.

And of course, if pre-created bundle is more your style, there are plenty of options there, too. You can even set up a subscription so that a new bundle arrives every few months of baby’s first year! (Some bundle purchases will also donate toward particular causes – bath bundle purchase gives to Water For People, etc. I love the idea of giving back while also giving to loved ones!)

  1. Diaper | automatic parenting win!!! πŸ˜‰
  2. Organic | from toys to blankets – got you covered!
  3. Learn & GrowΒ | such a fantastic variety of toys for learning through play.
  4. Book | Eric Carle, Peter Rabbit, and more!
  5. Bath | If your kids are like mine, bath time = play time! haha Check this bundle category out, for sure.
  6. Sleep | Probably my favorite after diapers. haha This bundle option will definitely get some use from me for baby gifts!

I love that so much of what IncrediBundles offers can grow with your child and the seasons of motherhood.

Motherhood continues to be an ever-changing journey for me, but I am becoming more confident as I see them grow. They are growing with love, these most thoughtful of gifts that keep on giving back to me, and the bonds they are forming now will last a lifetime. These days are noisy, their energy is boundless, but the memories of their games and laughs together are some of my most precious!

And my youngest – Cassandra Rose is forever the sweet flower of my heart, the sunshine that brought me joy in the midst of tears, and the blessing that just keeps on giving to us all.

  1. Cassandra is precious! ❀️ And I love that what hasn’t changed is your desire for less. This year, that has been my project – – decluttering and having less stuff!

  2. I’ve heard so many people talk about Incredibundles but never seen it broken down with what is included like you did. I’ll totally have to check them out now!

  3. Cool idea. Thanks. I love your blog! So many great ideas and a breath of fresh air. I used to work in safe sleep and am thus somewhat neurotic when I see pictures of sleeping kids. I noticed that your daughter has long ties on her bonnet. Those can be unsafe for sleeping as kids can get tangled. Just wanted to point this out so your family can stay safe.

  4. Wow! I have never heard of this before, but will definitely be checking it out now. So amazing for the gift giver and for the parents/kids receiving! πŸ™‚

  5. Such beautiful pictures! I really like the Incredibundles service and the fact that you can create your own or pick one of their curated boxes!

  6. What a great place to find so many different things for babies and their parents! I love seeing all of the options out there for gifts! And you’re right, diapers are always a win with parents!
